Sun, Moon, Stars

Circle Time: Make a quick sun and moon - talk about day and night/ awake and asleep
Have the kids do awake things (dance, play wiggle) when the sun is up. Have kids yawn, lay down, pretend to sleep and be still when the moon is up.

I also think it would be fun to make up a relative sized sun and moon out of paper and put them up on the wall. For older kids making all the planets, and the sun relative sizes and place them the appropriate scaled distances away from each other on a wall would be fun. You could also make favorite constellation shapes on paper with star stickers and draw in the shape the constellation is named after.
