Today we made these
chewy granola bars. They were easy and they taste good, but I thought they were more sweet treat than granola bar. I would have done them in a bigger pan if I could have (we have a teeny oven) so that they would set up better. Here's Matthew sneaking a few mini M&Ms before we get started.
I pre-measured all the ingredients into some little bowls so Matthew could do all the dumping.
He liked dumping everything together.
And stirring.
And then we used plastic bags as gloves to pat everything down. He liked that part too.
It was a successful toddler cooking endeavor.
